Thinking about turning my WK into a brushless rock racer. Any downsides in using these axles for that?

The axles are fine. The dogbones are weak. Need CVDs and HD gears. Axials fit Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Thanks, I have the HD gears from the old days and so I guess I just need the cvds, thanks.

Google: Losi LST1 axle mod wheely king. Or something like that. Buy all the parts . You cut the ends off the lst dogbone end, file to shape of wk axles, mod lst knuckle to fit into c-hub, cut the steering ears partially off and fab some that protude further than that pumpkin. Bolt them up and you're Done! 6mm axles and cvds that held up to a 14# monster truck.

LST axles...interesting. I'll have to look into that. I tried RC4WD CVD's - they snapped on level ground while turning off power 30 minutes into their maiden run. Junk. I picked up some chineseium CVD's a while ago off Ebay since they were the only ones I could find. Haven't installed them yet, they look decent and spin smooth but we'll see. |
