you dont need much to get it into a nice crawler.. new tires, a lathe motor and new shock and oil and different springs. accredit this info to dezfan on rcuniverse.
after the inital purchase of 208 -25$ discount if you got it, and your in about 270 for a decent crawler. thank hpi for giving you alot of useable equipment.

I have on the way and plan on having it as a budget scaler.

video of stock wk with few mods like mamba 25 and revolver 2 brushless motor, servo upgrade new shocks and wb stretch

from this site is there a good chassis kit that would work really well with the parts from a WK 4x4 or is this not the way to go with a WK. i just want to build a good (by Good i mean really good but not totally comp) rig that can take me to the top of the rocks. i dont know where to go with this hobby i want to get into it but i dont want to get a truck thats going to turn me off to it so i want to get into it with a good rig not some cheesy cr*p you know what i mean i hope. well thanks everyone.

WK to Crawler Conversion… Cheap & Simple!

That is the most painless way to make a crawler. The best option is to make or buy a new frame, but this is the easiest.
