Arrow My WK S10, semi-scale build

After running half a pack through my WK. I decided it needed some improvements! First I made it 4x4, installed steel links, streched it out, got a new body, and made a servo mount.

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m...es/ebay279.jpg

That was OK, but it needed more. So I cut up a tlt chassis and bolted them and the WK tranny up to a HL chassis, bolted up some piggyback's and made some delrin links. It's a roller, but I still need to make a plate to mount the GD 600/tranny (I'm using the WK tranny as a transfer case), mount all the electronis and get the body on there. I cut the bed off and I'm not sure if I sould make a flatbed or do some tubework back there. What do you guys think? Well, here's how it sits now.

before I cut the body and PC'd the tlt chassis

Nice, I run a beater S10 body and have always liked the lines of it. Would be nice if there was a larger scale version with the same lines, maybe with 12" wheelbase or so.

i really like that simple chassis. Props for finding a use for a stock chassis. they seem to be collecting rather quickly on my work bench.....2......4.......6....

Here's some pics of the body mocked up. I still have to figure out how I want to mount it. I got the motor/GD 600 mounted up also. I need a higher turn motor. It's fast with the 35T!
Hopefully I'll have some action pics tomorow.

Well, I got it up and running, not finished-but running.! Still needs the front of the chassis cut off. And I wanna make a front bumper w/fairlead and a flatbed. Crawls pretty good just a little too fast w/ the 35T. I have a 65T I wanna try in it and a LRP ESC. Hopefully it'll give me more low speed control than the stock one.

Dont cut that front off, just get some C channel that will fit over, cut the sides at a 45* angle and it would be a kick *** bumper.

I was thinking that after looking, and the extra frame would give you a place to put a winch servo too.

I like that truck Razor, and cage nice and simple! Think I will make a cage like that. I wanna make a bumper too with a fairlead. The LST bumper is just on it for now. I got the winch hooked up too. It crawls pretty good. The suspension works good. But it needs geared down though, NO GRUNT at all!! Well here's a few action pics on the rocks from the Pike's Dam GTG.

I got it geared right and dialed in a bit more. I'm running an E-flite park 480/mamba max w/a scorpion lipo pack, and I like it. Snapped an axle at last weekends GTG, and the rock lizards ore so so. They spin on certain rocks. I wanna put more foam in, and run em some more. Well here's a few pics.

Thanks, I was gonna make a full exo still might! I put a stinger on the front and got rid of the LST bumper, it would catch the tire at full flex. I wanna make some rock rails too.The motor is an e-flite park 480 outrunner. I stripped a spur at the last gtg, and somebody had a spare that fit. I don't know how many teeth it is, but the pinion is 14T. The body is the Tamiya S10. It's a pre-runner style body and kinda small, so I just cut the bed off. Anybody know if half cab is legal? I got the rollbar and a spare back there.?!
