I know it makes some of you mad to get the same questions over and over but some of the stuff i have read is a bit cloudy on information for a noobie as myself. Im about to buy a WK 4x4 and i have plans to turn it into a crawler. Im not going to use the stock chasis and dont have much knowledge on how to build my own does anyone have a link to where i can get a chasis that will hold all the stock parts from the WK. Also im wanting to know where i can get some motors pinions and all that good stuff. Just remember im not trying to make anyone mad, just trying to get information that i couldnt pick up from the other post. Thanks

There are not any aftermarket chassis specifically made to accept WK parts. I do think most of the popular chassis on the market could accept the WK parts, but you will need to be a bit creative, and have some basic fab skills to get it done. There are several crawler conversions here using the stock chassis which look very capable. As for aftermarket, I would look into an SW2 from Bender customs, or a Verticle Smile from Double J Products, both of which can be found in the vendor section. As for the pinion gears and such, you should be able to find them at a local hobby shop, as they are common to the majority of RC cars on the market. If you need to mail order them, several of the vendors sell pinion gears, a couple that jump to mind are RCP Crawlers and TheCrawlerStore. |
