Had a thought...sorry to butcher your image but it's easier for me to explain things in pictures...

That is a pretty good Idea, I know where I can get some of those.

Well, I got it all running. Drive shafts are mounted, and I uploaded my programing to the Mamba 25.

I just strapped the battery on the back, wrapped the antenna around the chassis and took it out in front of the apartment. I won't take pictures with it looking this crappy. As soon as I get it all purdy'ed up. Hopefully tomorrow.

It did very well for what I tried, I need to take it to a more appropriate place though. My only concern is that it is going to rain like crazy tomorrow.

Still tons of things to do, just thought I would give a little update.

Josh

Then Jeff whipped me up these steering lock outs. These things clean up the rear of the axle perfectly. The steering knuckles were then trimmed to keep it as clean as possible
Okay who do I talk to to see about getting some of these made for me?

ummm.............................I got the seat in the mail...............

I need to do alot! I really am kind of waiting for Brandon to get the paint to me before I start doing too much. I know I suck.

I also started an MFM scaled build, that I am kind of working on. That is getting the new Blazer body, also painted by Brandon.

Oh yeah, and picking up a micro T to soak some time and money in. Think of it as a pit bike for my crawler.

No I suck! I'm sorry its taking this long. Who would have though once I was out of school for the summer I would have less time I picked up some thinner lexan last night. One more try!! Dont worry I will get it, the paint is the easy part on this project haha.

Those are available, as far as I know. Honestly, his links and lock-outs are my favorite part of the truck. Well worth it!

HAHA, I'm not too worried. I have been a lazy *** this week anyway. I can't wait to get the panels though.

The lockouts are available. They are made from delrin. Lockouts are $15.00 per pair shipped. I have a feeling some may think that is steep but there is labor involved and thats also time taken away from the family so I'm not making them for free. They are also taken down to a certain thickness +/- < 0.2 mm. by hand. Jeff

Nothing I can really do if you do, unless you try and sell them. Then JW might have a word or two for you.

Sweet!

What are you going to do for the paint? I can't remember if we talked about it.

Probably blue with silver flames ( I think thats what you originally wanted) I might add some checkered flags in the backround like this:

I will also get the number on the roof panel

Custom paint is done and on its way, should be on the rig by Weds at the latest.

I ran the truck today for the first time on serious rocks. I needs some tuning for sure. I need to shim the axles, I was having some slipping. To be competitive this rig really needs dig, it just lacks the turning radius it takes to run tight courses. It will go get better.
