Nice truck. You will definatly like the Axial bead locks. I run them with my moabs and they are great. I got the black crome ones, they look really good with the moabs on them.

Great work!

The relocated power switch is great!

I really like how you have the upper links mounted to the axle. Can you tell me about how you made that?

The shocks are inverted. Does that change the handling?

Thanks,
Al

Yes the lower links are from a x-factor i should have just done the threaded rod mothod for the links because there were not cheep. for the upper link mounts were something i just fabed up from stuff around the house and actually there working vary well. I got a question though is what is a good thing to us from a lock tight for plastic parts? the shocks being inverted i dont think it helps but i just did and assumed it would give me better lower center of gravity. i moved the power switch because it wouldnt fit with where i put the reciever and esc but i like where i put it. my next lil mod is my chassis and i started it and wish i had something to show but my cumputer crashed and i got nothing :-(. actually it was more like this! im also looking to get a new esc and im thinking of going with a rooster 2 unless someone says else to change my mind.

There is a product for locking screws into plastic, but I think a lot of people use CA.

I just installed a Traxxas XL-10 because someone posted a video showing how effective the brakes work so I had to get it.

Got a link that shows a rooster 2 esc?

So i have done a lot more to my WK and now it works great. Im waiting on a 55 turn motor and i picked up the rooster esc and it works great. This new truck was just going to be something new and cool to try. i was not planning on turning it into a comp rig. Now im getting it ready to take out to the comp in apple vally. Sence my wheel base is 13.25 i need to shorten it and that is pretty much the last mod to it i can think of. let me know what you all think. Is there some more i can do? oh and i plan on clocking the motor to get a better CG. By the way this is not the body i plan on keeping i ordering the pro-line chevy blazer thats why the body post are not cut.

What a fabricator!

What is the small orange (or is it red?) block with the red and black leads that is screwed to the left side of the chassis?

What kind of tools did you use to make the new chassis?

Yes the little orange box is a power switch.

The chassis is made out of a plastic like delrin and it was cut on a band saw. I didnt want it to be aluminium because plastic bonces back un like aluminium that bends and just gets weak.

The links are from the XTM X-Factor.

No the esc is not the rooster cralwer edition its just the normal rooster the next day after i bought it the cralwer one was released:-( i like it though.

Terminator13 what do you mean by the cog? If your talking about the gearing its all stock.

oh ya when i say that i use CG. Anyways the COG is not as good as i would like. im sure many would be ok with the COG but i would like it to be better. When crawling today i remembered another thing i need to get those aluminium diff lockers. its more like a semi locked diff cause i used silicone glue. its great in the way that the steering is great.
