i bought some maxx 3.3 link, the revo pushrods and the maxx drive shafts. when i put it all together, the shafts were too long. has anyone else have this happen, is it normal? i know now im going to have to cut them to the right lenght but i was just kind of surprised no one had said anything. aslo when i only bought enough links for one side because my LHS didnt have enough, but how long of a wheelbase will it have with these links,im no good at math but i think it will be about 12" right?

I had to cut my Maxx drive shafts too. Just make sure you clean up the cut really well so it slides in and out easily.

My wheelbase is 13" and the T Maxx shafts fit with about 1/4" extension on each end. I think they have to be cut for a 12" wheelbase and maybe for a 12.5" wheelbase.

mine is about 13" and all droop and i had to cut off about 1/2" on the front and 1/4" on the rear, i eyeballed it and cut them with a dremel and they turned out awesome. i wanted to leave them as long as possible in case i change later from a droop setup.

I'm 12.5" and had to cut 1/2" front and 1'4" rear. Clean up the cut as well as possible, just like 4x4dodge said.

Yup, had to cut mine a little on the 12.5" setup, not sure how much but probably about the same as the others.
