| just got my wheely king. ran it about 10 times. got slightly wet (wet grass). now the esc beeps when the battery is plugged in. seems to function alright but the esc heats up fast. what should i do? whats wrong with it? sorry for the noob question..:-( |

| i'd probably go ahead and order a new one. They have a few writeups on esc's in there. The mamba maxx seems to be the ultimate but @ $135 for the esc and 225 for the engine+esc package its not really a budget item. Use the stocker till it dies on you and then swap in a replacement of your choice. |

| So, it beeps as soon as you plug in the battery - even when the ESC is turned off? My ESC beeps very quietly when you turn on the ESC but not the transmitter. Its great because it lets you know that you've left the truck turned on. One night I was working on my truck when I heard this incessant beeping. I went all around the house looking for my son's watch as the beeping sounds just like its alarm. Turns out it was the ESC telling me that it was turned on and waiting for a signal. Its very quiet.
