can u run a non brushless engine with that?

getbent 06-04-2007 09:35 PM

Any idea on runtime with the 7cell 2/3a pack? I plan to run the 1500's but have no idea how long they will last on a charge. Thanks.

you can run several brushed motors off of one, been doing it for over a year. much better performance than brushless!

I run cheap chinese 1200's and 1100's order off of ebay for 24 batteries for 30.00 shipped. run time is around 20 to 25 minutes

getbent 06-04-2007 09:56 PM

Thanks for the reply, that should be plenty of runtime. If I can get 30min's with the 1500's I will be more than happy.

I actually get longer run times with the ebay cheapies than the IB 1500's and about 1/4 the cost. I gave my son the Ib 1500's and 1400's I run the cheepo units"thumbsup"

Are those the cells I sent you the link for?

If so, I wondered how they would hold up."thumbsup"

axles showed up a couple of hours ago.

I made an alum plate to support the BMVII chassis axle plates and strengthen the WK Knuckle area.

Looks like its gonna work out well

the Losi trans is for mock up. I will be using a WK trans. narrower should help with driveline angles

to use those alum plates did you have to mill down the axle housing?... if so any close-ups?

no I cut out a triangle out of the middle of the alum to fit the housing up through. I did grind off the upper top most pinion side mounting hole though

scuzzy51 06-06-2007 05:53 PM

if you dont mind me asking why did you use that thick of aluminum?? i'm sure you could of gotten away with using some thinner material.. but its an awesome idea love it!! dont mind if i steal it do ya?? lol"thumbsup"
