I took apart the tranny as well as the diffs. Nothing looks out of place. I did notice a touch of metal shavings in the diffs. Nonetheless, the teeth look fine with plenty of mesh. The tranny gears all look good with plenty of mesh. I also tried a different motor just because someone else said he thought it sounded like a motor... it wasn't.

Before I start throwing money at this just to get it ready to sell... Can anyone recognize the clicking and give an opinion if you feel it needs the tranny fix (slipper eliminate) or if it sounds more like diffs etc?
Sounds like the diffs to me.

Sounds like the trannies' slipper, wk had a peculiar spring deal slipper, i changed the tranny in mine just because of that, but there are some alternatives to lock it, i'll look into mine later tonight and i will post back.

I appreciate the input and willingness to check.

To add, I did disconnect the front drive line making it 2wd (rear) and I had clicking still. Then I did the same disconnecting the rear making it 2wd (front) and still had clicking. This would have me believe it is the tranny unless both diffs were clicking and both started doing it at the same time.

Thanks again for the assistance.

There you have it, it's your tranny that's clicking, check out the first post of this thread, JIA came up with a fix for it.

The clicking is mostly caused by the factory slipper not meshing correctly due the unit not sitting flush due to extra flashing that wasn't removed by the factory. It's an extra fix with an xacto knife.
