Default first tuber, PLEASE HELP!

(originally on the "first tuber" post)

looking to build a tuber chassis for a WK. have the 4x4 coming and want to make it a tuber in the 2.2 class. i have a few questions though. (im VERY new to the crawler side of r/c. please be gentle...)

1) what are the limitations for the 2.2 class? lenth, width, motor, ect.

2) does anybody know of a good "how to" site for brazing? i did it back in high school shop class, but havent since then. whats do i need?

3) (sort of unrelated) does anybody know of anybody in the colorado springs, co area that holds comps? i got interested after stumbling onto a comp in the works at palmer park last year, but didnt get any names.

got a good start from the article posted this month on this site on how to convert a rtr to a decent crawler, but im kind of on my own from there. not much money going into it since i already race 1/10 electric onroad, 1/10 electric off-road, and 1/18 carpet. any other help would be appreciated. thanks guys
