Default stripped hole in link

I was doin' the conversion to rock crawler with my WK and screwed the 4-40 in too deep on the upper link in front and stripped the hole. Now the 4-40 just slides right out! I was thinking just CA it but it's a high stress area. Drill through and lock nut on other side maybe? Dunno. Open to ideas. Thanks ya'll. New to RC and all.

2' of 8-32 all-thread and 4 ball ends cost about $5. or $6. make it a 4 link.

Put a small drop of super glue on a toothpick or sharp object. Then coat the sides of the stripped out hole from top to bottom. Let that dry and do another small coat. After it has dried, get your parts back together and thread in the screw. This will hold just fine with out spending a dime.

If this doesnt work, repete the steps until a desired hole is achieved.

Is you First name really Solomon? I thought I was the only one! Lol. But peronsally, I would do what JIA's dad said and just go 4 link on it. Thats what I am running after I decided to ditch the extended top link.

I don't quite understand the Sheba comment. the only Sheba I have ever heard of was one of Noah's grandchildren in the Bible.... But, as for the links... Lol... Use 8-32 all thread like JIA's dad said. You can pick it up at Lowes, home depot or pretty much any hardware store. Then go to your lhs and get some rod ends. As for the "cool brackets" those are the tamiya suspension stays for the TLT. They are becoming harder to find though. I personally just used a piece of u-channel aluminum. the search at the top of the page is a HUGE help sometimes.
