Unhappy wheely king grinding in front end

i have a wheely king with 4wd drive and locked diffs. i noticed recently that when driving in reverse and when theres a lot of pressure on the front end the gears grind. i took apart both the front and rear axle to compare to see if the front axles gears were chewed up. they look fine. i think though that one of the 4 axle screw are stripped.

can somebody please help this is my first crawler build and i have parts on the way:-(:-(:-(

are you sure its the gears and not the wheel hex? Can you record the sound it makes and post it up for us?
