Ah ha, I see it know.

Good job on hiding that sucker! That makes it alot cleaner looking when you don't see this massive servo on the front axle.

if you look at post 3 and the last pic you can see exactly where he put the servo..... he had to use some spacers to get the servo away from the body but you still cant see it...... and that aluminum you see in the wheel well is his battery tray.... that black cj in those pics are mine... my truck is very capable and he was keeping up with me everywhere i went...

are scale rules say your servo has to be frame mounted along with battery.... it makes it look more like a 1:1, and its alot harder to make work!!!

The cab is mounted with just 2 front mounts right ? Seems like it kinda floopy with just front mounts. I know used the stock link mounts, but what keeping the axles sliding forward and backwards on the leafs ?

yea the cab is only mounted in the front right now, but it locks into the tubing and is a tight fit. i need to find a way to mount it a little better tho cause it moves a lil bit when i roll.

as for the leaf springs i had to drill 2 more holes in the mount and i used a screw and lock nut to hold the leafs together so it just locks itself between the 2 screws that hold it in... kinda confusing, i can post pics if you want. the front and rear are a little different.

I couldn't help but notice that truck is sweet looking.

But from all the trucks I've seen they all have shocks. Yours just has what look like leaf springs kind of. Am I seeing that right? How are those compared to shocks?
