I normally stop after I break one. Actually I haven't broken a steering knuckle yet. I can feel it coming though with my super aggressive driving.

Wow to me the knuckles look a bit flimsy. I would have expected more people to break that tab off by now.

I broke a front one last week while doing normal rock crawling, going no faster than 2mph. However, this did occur when I replaced my stripped out TowerPro MG995 (metal gear) with a Hitec 5955-TG.

I use a JR 9000 T servo. Broke 4 steering arms before installing the aluminum ones. I also installed the new CVDs. Had to drimmel down the steering arms to stop the arms from bumpimg the axle Cs. I have a lot better turning radius now with the new parts.

Jeff, Is the jr 9000 the one you meant? If so how much do they run and would they work well on a crappy radio? I can use a reciever batt pack also

i am not anywhere near my rig to see if it is the 9000 but every high end servo is priced about the same mine was a 129 bucks pretty much what all the good ones go for from any brand and it doesnt matter what radio you own.. a servo is a servo depending on what brand of reciever you run you might have to change the harness plug..

Cool thanks. I am just looking for a servo with about 200oz or so. I think I will get cheap tower or hitec and use like a 6 cell batt pack. That should get me near.
