Default Which Tire to Pick?

Hey guys,

Recently i stripped out the hex in my stock WK rim and im going to get new wheels and if i get new wheels i might as well get new tires i have a question which ones i should i get??

i have narrowed my choices down to

Mashers 2k
Moabs
All-t's
and mabye
losi rock claws

Im mostly going to be running in loose dirt, gravel, cement, a little sand, a little mud, and rocks

so i need kind of and all terrain but i want it to perform great... my WK isnt a crawler it is more of a trail truck...

im leaning towards Mashers but i kind of dont like the look of them... i really like the look of moabs but i read that they suck in everything but rocks...

thanks guys

I'd go with the Losi Rock Claws. They work great in the rocks and dirt from what I've seen.

I'll go out on a limb and say Geolanders. I've seen them on a few trail trucks and I haven't read about any complaints.

i changed the suggestion because i realized that they were too small for what i want them for...

I've been running mine hard for 3 weeks now, on the most abrasive terrain available, and they are wearing a lot slower then I initially expected.

So you want a tire that works good in all terrains, is tall enough for your WK axles, and looks good.

I have been very happy with my Rock Lizards for a great all around tire. In Montana at the scale competition we ran through streams, over log bridges, up dirt hill climbs, up sandy hills, and over rocks. The Axials handled everything very well, and they have a very nice scale look. Even better than the Moabs.

EDIT: The claws are certainly a good choice too.

I just snapped this pic, I'd say there is 90% of the tread left. If you're running in water and mud the tires should last a lot longer. Running full foams should help the treads clean themselves out in mud, along with a little wheelspeed. The Losi tires worked good in the rocks for me when wet too.

According to Losi the Rock Claws will be available in a couple weeks.

They will work fine with the Traxxas wheels you linked. I don't think there are any wheels that are cheaper then that.

Yes I was running Moabs. But I saw lots of guys running the Axials. They don't pack up as bad in mud because they are not as sticky as the Moabs. It's a little give and take.

You won't be disappointed with the Mashers or Claws. I was just offering another choice since you said you didn't like the look of the Mashers and the Moabs might not work great for what you want.

I just mounted my Rock Lizards they hook up real nice, they are a little taller than the Losi's thats why I went with the Axial's, personally I think both look great so its kind of a coin toss.

Well today i got bad news guys my dad only gave me the option of either moabs or mashers because he said he does not want me to buy online... and i really need the rims because 3 or the 4 rims i have are stripped so i practically only have 1 wheel drive...

I mostly backyard bash.... on occasion i might crawl some rocks and blast through streams... moslty loose dirt except when i water it then its muddy/ hard packed....

Moabs: I love the look but i dont know about performance on dirt and cement....

Mashers: Not a big fan of the look i will only buy them if i get black rims ( i am) but i heard good things about perfomance...

responses?? opinions???
( bender, grizzly) LOL

And about the rims.... i was wondering do any of you have problems with HPI rims ( in the hex area) i dont want to get HPI's if the have the same problem ( mabye i just got bad luck on these set of rims...)

im sorry for the trouble...
