Default WK Transmission size

I am building a tuber for my son. Can someone tell me the size of the WK stock tranny. I really need the width. TIA

I think you have asked this question before and it was answered. But anyway I found this for you. Weird how you have 34 post each time though.

Transmission size?

Save this file and print it full scale, DO NOT CLICK FIT TO PAGE. I am not 100% that it will be perfect, but double check it with the other post you started and you should get a pretty good idea. This of course does not have a motor plate on it. You can find the template I made previously however to clock the motor 90* to the side.

Just the tranny is 2" wide outside of mounting post to outside of mounting post. And 2 1/2" long or tall.
With motor mount in the stock position the tranny and motor mount all measures 4 3/4" bottom to top.
With the 90*degree mount it measures 3 3/4" side to side
and 3" top to bottom.

Note: Depending on what spur gear you use these measurements can change some for the spur gear. I used a 32 pitch 72 tooth spur gear and had to use a 1/4" spacer under the tranny to make the spur gear clear the skid plate with the 90 degree motor mount and the tranny mounted on it's side.
