Went mudding!!!
 

So i took the WK out and beat on her a little. I found a sick mud hole and had a little fun!!! I took a few pics of the aftermath...

I had a blast gettin' her dirty! The mud was so thick it actually stopped the tires from turning a few times, and im running a lathe!
I just spent a few hours cleaning it tho, SUCKS!!!

Looks like you had a blast.

Take out the electrics and take the hose to it. Then WD the hell out of it and put the electics back in. That may be a lil quicker next time.

I thought about that, but i didnt think it was gonna take so long to clean. :shock:

Next time it may get the hose or the dishwasher maybe??? Ive heard of several rc guys who have done that. Thanks

wouldn't the dishwasher melt all the plastic parts?

If you left the pot-and-pan dryer function on. Basically a coil setup like you'd see in an electric oven. I've accidentally melted plastic cups a bunch of times.

And no dishwasher is equipped to deal with grease (the non-edible type) and real dirt. If you got the heavy stuff off first it might work, and not compromise the pump and drainage systems.

I'd take it by a car wash instead of running it through the dishwasher...

Yeah ive never actually used the dishwasher to clean any of my RC's but i have heard of several guys that have or do.

Cleaning it wasnt that bad, it was like dryed on clay so it wasnt that easy to get off. Its all good tho, it was worth it! The pics dont do it justice! ;-)

a can of break cleaner will clean it right up!! Atleast it has worked for me

It's cool but I'm not into the clean up work.
