First Timer Custom Stock Chassis Crawler King Build!!!

Hello people,

I originally had a thread up on here called "Birth of yet another custom Crawler King" and it sounded like another thread called "Birth of another Wheely king". So i'm gonna change some stuff around, and see how it goes for me..

First of all, I'm new to the crawling scene, other than full scale jeeps and trails with my father. I just left the Nitro scene and i hope i don't have a (Relapse). I traded one of my nitro trucks for a (nib) Wheely king 2wd from my lhs.

Here is the first mod i did right out of the box... I installed Traxxas 112mm rods for lower links and trimmed the body. (see below)

So since the first pics you just saw i installed a R153f rx and my tx is a Futaba 2pl Fm. I like it so much better i can dial it in right on a dime.

So i drove it like this for awhile and got the itch to go longer wb and more flex. So i went to the local hardware store and got some supplies, all together for a 12.5" wb it cost me $26.48 to build.

I didn't know building a crawler was so much fun, And so far no relapses.. Also a lot cleaner...

Now the trouble starts in many bad ways for a newbie too crawling.
First off i have too much weight on the rear off the truck, and it wants to flip over backwards.
Second, i have a open diff, ya know limited slip and being only 2wd that hurts alot.
Third, i have a very high cog and didn't know how too help it..

So i went and did a total tear down, and Started from the beginning.
Front and rear axles, what wb i wanted, Chassis configurations, Shock mounts, uppers and lowers, Ground clearance and i wanted posi.

So i built what i have now with alot of modifications along the road. Including a new custom stock chassis, 13.5" wb, and as you see below this is what i came up with.

So i had everything going my way, When i decided i could go to comps if i wanted too with a 13.5" wb. So decisions came about again.

So i went back too the original 12.5" wb and made some major modifications such as:
Traxxas T-maxx shocks
12.5" wb
Custom rx and speed control mounts
custom hand made first and second front mount servo mounts
Locked my diff
Side post mounting system
Wheely king shocks Rear
T-maxx Shocks front

Now i have an occurring problem i just can't seem too fix. I also have a few questions on fixing the problem.

First off the problem:

My wheel nuts are slipping inside of my wheels, at first i thought my jb-weld didn't hold tight, but upon further investigation i found that wasn't the case. I tried taking them out and switching the front ones with the backs and problem still occurs... Suggestions are welcome... Questions, i have are as follows:

I'm buying axial beadlocks this weekend and my 4wd and my motor, With this setup will this still occur and why? Does axial supply wheel nuts with their wheels? And if this problem still occurs, What other solutions are there?

they are called hexes and this happens b/c the soft plastic rims slip around them, its not the hex's fault

Problem solved with the hexes. I ran it today everything was working o.k. I installed some duratrax evader aluminum threaded shocks, and bought some steel to put on the inside of my wheels for weights. Still haven't gotten my 4wd, and my tires and beadlocks will be on the truck on wed. I will get some pics up then.
