I just know someone is going to say "try the search button" but I did and didnt find anything. Has anyone tried narrowing these axles. I just finished my "scalish" build and mad these axles are wide.

Not that I know of except If you put the outer bead on the inside of the wheel this wills help make the track width a little thinner, I'm not sure how to hold the tyre on But i think it says in Mnsters c10 build. Here: Wheely king Chevy C-10

I don't think those are narrowed. they just don't have the axles C's on. I admit it's hard to tell, though.

those are WAY narrowed, about what I need. Ive seen MNSTR's build, almost copied it actually (especially since mine is a c10 also). I went more show on mine though...I may have to use some different axles if I cant figure something out...WK's look huge on my body. (guess it wont roll)

I'm not sure why you think so, but those axles aren't narrowed at all. Totally stock width minus the Cs and knuckles.

Not having the C's realy give the illusion of being narrowed.

There's a member on RCC by the name of nigels_world that has narrowed his rear axle...BUT, he doesn't have internet at the time(moving). We're going crawling this Sunday, I'll try to get some pictures of it. Worked pretty good IMO, but the only downside would be that he had to fab up the axle shafts, not sure what he used to do that...he had already had the shafts made before he narrowed the axle case so it was easy for him to narrow the shafts.

um.... the axles shouldn't be "hard" to narrow at all. The axles shafts have drive flats so they would be EASY to shorten. Basically all you would have to do is take a slice out of your housing and glue it back together. I'd probably cut a plate of Al to screw the two pieces together. BTW I'm going to narrow one side of mine (and shave the diff case to the ring gear) to get offset pinions for a scale 1.9 flatfender build. (the flatfender jeeps had a dana 18 tcase with offset front and rear driveshafts)

Simplest way to narrow a Wheely King is to buy aluminum wheels from TCS made by Billet Works. They are designed to narrow the track width of the WK without modding the axles. People are usually around 10 1/8" to 10 1/4" with these wheels. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8213
