Thanks a lot for all the help, no… I really I mean it. I have been lurking on this forum now for a good 4 months soaking up all the information I could in order to build my crawler. Did not even have to ask 1 question; all the trails were blazed before me. Lots of great info out there, all I had to do is search. I figured it was due time to post up my creation...after all, you all had a helping had in it.


Body- Custom cut and painted Barbie Volkswagen New Beatle with interior
Chassis – Flipped, shortened stock chassis w/ custom shock and body mounts
Protection- Front axel/steering linkage guard, and center guard (made from
old automotive sheet metal)
Battery box: Stock

Motor - 45turn Integy lathe
Motor- Cooling: Integy heatsink with fan
ESC -Duratrax Sprint
Receiver- Stock hpi rf 1
Transmitter- Stock HPI
Battery- 3500 mah NI-MH

Tranny – Stock WK w/ stock gearing
Drive shafts- Cut Traxxas 2.5 Long Half Shafts w/Metal U-Joints
Axle housings – Stock WK with 2x oversized assembly hardware
Axel running gear- Stock gears and axels locked with RcGuy lockers
Wheels - Traxxas 2.2" Nylon 14mm hex
Tires – Stock Mud thrashers w/ cut tread and sidewalls

Steering servo-Traxxas 2055 high torque w/ Team Orion 100mm Lightweight
Universal Servo Extension
Steering linkage-High tourque servo saver, Crawln Coles derlin links
Servo mount- Custom Fully welded ¼” steel w/ integrated upper link mount

Shocks- Traxxas E-maxx
Springs- Traxxas white for the Electric Rustler stretched 50%
UpperShock mounts- custom
Lower shock mounts:
Front- aluminum
Rear- reinforced stock

Upper links- Traxxas 2.5 Wide T-Maxx/E-Maxx Rear Turnbuckle
Lower links- Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 Rear Toe Link Turnbuckles
Rear upper link mounts- custom


Wheel Base - 12.75" (can be adjusted back to 12. 5 with out changing parts)
Center clearance - 3"
Center axle clearance - 2"
Articulation:
Rear axel- 90 deg
Front axel- 75 deg

Special thanks to Crawln Coles for getting me started with this project. (changed a little since you seen it last? Told you I would not leave it be, ). I still have a few more cosmetic, and suspension related changes I want to make, but for the most part it’s all done. The time invested is unreal, but I had a lot of fun in the process (good to get your mind off work, and school). It’s a lot of fun to run as well… it goes on many road trips with me.
