Default put links on now won't steer

so I put my links on my wk and made a new steering link but now it doesn't want to steer very good one direction it steers fine one way but when you try to steer the other direction it doesn't want to do it very good. is that because I need a stronger steering servo or whats the deal? thanks.

check your EPA settings on your radio if theyre adjustable, disconnect it from the servo and check to see if the steering travels free from full left to full right.

post some pics of it if you can..

I had the exact same problem you are having. Here's what you do. Set your endpoints and steering trim all to zero. Take the horn off the servo and center it so it throws equally in both directions. Finally, after doing all this, make sure you're new steering linkage holds your wheels centered with the radio system powered up. This should help. One final point. If you are determined to keep the stock steering setup, upgrade the bellcrank and the three link mount it connects to to aluminum. These parts flex notoriously and are the reason alot of us go to an over the axle servo mount like the one Harley has a sticky for at the top of the page.

If you're using the stock radio try to flip the steering switch the other way. I had the same problem and that's what it was.

I found the alum bellcrank for sale in a few places, but I didn't see anything for the 3 link mounts. Can anyone provide me with a lead for this?
