Default Wheelbase Extension

I want to extend the wheelbase on my Wheely King. I want to extend it to about 11-11.5 inches or so. I dont want it to be 12.5. What can I use to do this?

i just extended mine today but i just did the rear so my weight is further foreward.its at about 11.5 inches...all you need is to have some engineering abliility and you dont have to use the same measurements everyone else uses.

You could do like nick did his links were bulletproof. His forum is with the pic of his truck. Got to the WK gallery and on the first page look for a red suburban. I'll try to get you link soon.

I've also use the Traxxas links. They have a few different sizes (84,102, 112 mm).
And just use a spacer and longer screw for the upper link.
I had a couple of the shelf, and they work fine.

Yup, that's the 102's that I've used.
If you put an X after the part # you'll get them in red and stronger

But use the Revo 4951x driveshafts and if you want to step up, get the 4928X yokes (straight bolt on).
You'll have to shorten the driveshafts a little.

I extended my wheelbase with carbon fiber hunting arrow. They are cheap if you as the archery shop for used carbons, and they very light as well as stout.
