Default body mounting?

OK guys I have just bought a rtr 4x4 wk and the first thing I did obviously was remove the anti-sway bar. Second I pitched that shotty stock battery, and got a 2500 . I have to say I am really impressed with how sweet this is in stock form. The reason I bought this is to build a scale crawler. I wanna get rid of the stock body and mount the hard body fj that comes with the NewBright wanna be crawler. Any suggestion's? I dont really wanna hack the body up so a clean mounting suggestions would be really appreciated.

Tires: on order

Servo: ON ORDER My LHS sucks bigtime no stock for anything but paint and model cars.

Thats a bit of a loaded question. Really depends on your fabrication skills, tools on hand and whatever it is you envision for scale. I don't see the body just dropping onto the stock chassis which means building a chassis from scratch. Aluminum plate frame rails to match the contour of the bottom of the body. Brazing or welding steel could work too. Have to get creative from there.

For lexan I've been using the front body mounts for HPI's touring cars in the stock location on the WK. Not sure what to use for hard bodies though, I'd try and make a hinged mount based off the wholes in the "front" of the chassis and maybe do a standard body post or TC body post setup on the other end.
