Are Wheely King Stock Wheels Nylon or plastic?

Was wondering if anyone here removed the stock tires from the stock wheely king wheels? I was wondering if I should just use heat but I am not sure if the wheels are just plastic which would melt easily...
Wanna put some Geolandars on the stock wheels...

When I took the stock tires off to put my Losi Claws on, they looked plastic to me...

Jbrandt, did you just cut the tires off? How did you remove yours? I have two sets of WK stock wheels now...one seems not to be glued on well and the other is glued like a rock...

I boil all my wheels to get the tires off
the boiling water loosens the ca glue so i can remove the tire

BUT BE CAREFUL WITH BOULING WATER ORE YOU WILL BURN YOUR HANDS"thumbsup"

I use a towel and wrap it around the wheel when i remove the tire
I have don this on AE, Tamiya, HPI, Kyosho and Traxxas wheels

Hey Snoopmaxx, I was also thinking of trying to boil it...doesn't dull the chrome does it? I heard sometimes they do...
You mentioned you have boiled HPI wheels? Didn't happen to actually boil the WK stock wheels have you?

i wouldent boil the wheels cuz i did that with a set of hpi wheels and it took all the crome off and didn't work!

I just the other day boiled a set of Mini LST wheels/tires and the chrome wasn't damaged in the least and the tires just about popped off the wheels in about 10 minutes. If you leave them in there forever anything can happen.
