Default Cobra King, finally running

I wont say it's done, because I don't think they are ever really done, but I have gotten to a point where it works. I still have lots of fine tuning to do, and need to figure out what I want to do for shocks. I'm thinking about trying a 2/3 droop setup, but am still thinking it through.
This my first build, and there is no way I could have done it without this site, or the vendors .

Links suck.

How's the R2D holding up to the crawlmaster?

That's a interesting way to set the steering up.

So far the R2D has held up to the crawlmaster just fine.
I'm hoping to get a better steering servo in there soon. I tried to set the steering up to get the wheels to turn evenly from lock to lock. It kinda hangs out in front a little far, so I might have to go back to the drawing board with it.

X2! I'd move the draglink to the top of the knuckle instead of on the tie-rod though.

I think your right, I'm going to move it when I get a new (stronger) steering servo. I 've smacked the drag link pretty hard a few times already.

They are made of some diamond textured aluminum I had laying around the garage. I got it from work a couple of years ago, but I think it can be bought from McMaster Carr.
