I'm not sure what you are looking for either but if it's a stock piece go to Liquid RC cheap prices, cheap shipping and fast.

You can just use a 90 degree two legged servo horn, they make them in aluminum. Here is the actual bellcrank though: http://www.liquidrc.com/index.php?ma...ducts_id=35369

The issue with the aftermarket bellcrank (also called steering lever II) is that it doesn't do squat to help your turning radius and if you are breaking stock stuff you probably need all the help you can get. I think most people go to axle mounted servos to solve that. I, like you, didn't want to put the servo on the axle, so I made a bellcrank that has a longer arm on the front side. This allowed my knuckles to go lock to lock (even after trimming them out) but it also reduced the torque going out to the knuckles. Because of the torque reduction, I went to the aftermarket servo. Course once you add lockers, grippy tires and weighted wheels, your regular BEC is gonna struggle to turn the wheels in bad spots regardless. That's why I went to the CC BEC, which I am running at 6.6 volts and my steering is a lot better. Once I go to Lipo I am planning on going to 7.2v I also had to beef up the stock draglink & tie rod a little by CAing some metal rods in there... not sure why I "polished the turds" there but I am planning on some nice links to replace the regular WK stuff. Of course the best steering mod I made was the dig setup but that's another story. It's a snowball effect. You find one weakness and fix it ... only to find another Last edited by Locked Up; 12-20-2007 at 06:37 PM.

I used an Ofna 1/8 aluminum 90-dgree servo arm on mine. Works great, and looks cool, too. (plus it was 3.99 reg. price and it was in the 50% off bin at the LHS WOOHOO!) ![]() But I gotta tell you, the problem isn't the bellcrank, it's the flex in the piece the bellcrank is MOUNTED to. Wanna take all the slop out of the steering? You need these: http://www.integy.com/cgi-bin/webc.c...39107438345.d7 or these: http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=628 P

I'm contemplating the same stuff Javelin, mainly to reinforce all those areas, especially the UCA mount.

Ah ok, I swapped those for buttonhead allan screws from Traxxas then thread locked those and the screw that holds the bellcrank to the UCA mount.
