ok so I quit modding my wk for a couple of months but I did get my upper and lower links done. so now i'm going to start to mod it again. but have some questions. like what type of motor should I get a lath or pay out for a brushless? and what esc should I get? I know which wheels and tires i'm going to get. so any answeres you guys can help me with on the other stuff would be great. thanks and merry christmas.

Search, and look. For a Wheely King I would go brushed, if you want brushed with the performance of brushless go with JPCutomRCs 35T brushed motor. http://www.jpcustomrcs.atomicshops.c...86/5254837.htm For an ESC I run a Tekin Rebel 2 and love it. I would say the most popular is the Novak Rooster crawler and the Mamba max. I have heard that the Novak is a little picky about the motors it likes.

I ran mine with a 55t As far as which ESC to get, it depends on what you want out of it. Do you want instant (no delay) reverse? Do you want to be able to run 8 or more cells? DO you want to be able to run any motor (brushed & brushless)? Programable? Drag Brake? BEC? After running the 55t on my stock ESC I got frustrated with the lack of a brake and the delayed reverse. FYI... the stock ESC can handle a 7-cell battery with the stock motor (and a 55t) but it shut down when I slapped a 20t in there (was just bashing). Anyway, I originally got a Novak Crawler ESC but never installed it because of the issues with the brake glitch and cheaper radios. I ended up getting a Mamba Max and for the little extra $$ it's totally worth it IMO. | |

yeah, I will just get some 2.2 moabs and rockster beadlocks to put on my wk. and I'm thinking about getting either a rooster crawler edition esc or a tekin 2esc. but I'm kind of leaning toward the roster crawler edition esc for the drag brake feature.

I got all my steering links made today out of some 3/16" rod and some revo rod ends. so they shouldn't break on me when crawling no all i have left to do is put in my 55t integy crawling motor and my spur and pinion gear, then i can get the rooster crawler edition esc for it next. so it's comming along.
