I'm looking for extended wheelbase kits for my WK without getting various links or material to extend the wheelbase. Has anyone used/installed the STRC extended wheelbase kit? Here is the kit I'm talking about. I'm also checking out the RC4WD X-0376 kit. Any feedback on either kit would be great. Thanks!

bigblazerboy....Not too sure which kit I'm going to get. With the STRC kit do you have a part number or picture for the rodends needed for the kit? I already have the Traxxas x4951 half shafts. I like both kits and with the STRC it is half the price. With the RC4WD kit I like that everything is already include except for the steering linkage for the stock steering servo setup. Did you check out this thread. One of the members is installing the RC4WD X-0376 kit. Still need to get some beadlock wheels and some moab tires. Last edited by RC_Feen; 12-28-2007 at 10:27 PM.

i emailed them and they said they used the rod ends from their stock lower link kit. i think stampede ends will work and thats what im going to get unless someone knows any better ends or one that will fit. i might take the kit into the hobby town and see for my self which ones fit.

Taking the links into hobby town would be your best bet in getting the correct rodends. Don't buy some rodends and then get home to findout that they don't fit. Ned at HT will only give you an instore credit not a refund if you baught the wrong stuff. So make sure whatever you buy works before leaving the store. I have some old T-Maxx/Revo tie-rods that might work. Need to determine which kit to get first.
