Default New shoes for the wheely King

I just bolted up a set of RC4wd soft compound Rock Stompers! I know there are a few others that like to play in the mud and general off road with their trucks and IMO these tires are perfect for that! They are tall and narrow with a deep lug and they bite very good. I don't really crawl but I did play around on a pile of house blocks and they did about as good as the M2K's but in dirt and mud they have much better traction! I used the foams that came with them and they are not cut.

Nice jump.

Hey, I moved this out of the Tires and Wheels Section because we're trying to keep this site about Crawling as much as possible. I had to decide between Newbie General, or Chit Chat, and couldn't. So I stuck it in the WK section.

Don't tell anyone, but really, technically, this isn't the right place either!

I'm not sure, my wk is geared 15/96 and doesn't have real speed, although at full speed while turning they almost start to hum like a 1:1 mud tire. IMO they are too soft for anything with speed. The jump pic is very deceiving, it looks fast but it only jumps about two feet tops...Thats why I have to get the pic as it takes of LOL

Very nice lookin WK!!!

I'm gathering parts to build a basher/crawler WK with the stock chassis....in addition to my crawler WK and really diggin on your setup. Tires are schweet and that body makes it even better.

safetydang they are 5.5" tall.

Thanks Natedog. The only thing that I would suggest anyone do different is use separate upper links instead of extending the stock Y link. I have some side to side flex in the upper link because the extended part. IMO the tires are great for this type of rig, and old Chevy bodies make everything look better!

We don't have rocks to crawl on around here so this is what it does the most...
