| Well I have been drooling over everyones WK's for a while now. So I went out and bought one, now that the prices are so good, and cuz my lhs finally got one.I bashed the hell out of it for about a month. I was a little limited cuz it's winter up here, and the snow is not that fun to play in (too deep)Well after I bashed it , I decided it was time to slow down and try making my WK a little scalish. lengthened the wb to 11.25 " cuz it looks good on the body. The body is from a crappy new bright rockcrawler I am sure you all have seen. But I like it better than the stock body. here are some picks I hope you like it, and any suggestions are much appreciated. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...y/CIMG0775.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...y/CIMG0776.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...y/CIMG0773.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...y/CIMG0771.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/g...y/CIMG0769.jpg Lots of mods to come. 55t integy motor on order. 96t-16t gearing ready to put in new esc (can't really decide at this time) better battery soon to be axle mounted steering servo lots of scale stuff.(bumpers,lights,cans,tools.) In the future I will be trying my hand at building a tube chassis for both a rubicon hpi body and a bronco hpi body. I like them both to much to decide on one. | yeah that is what I did for the front. I had to use the good old duck tape for the back to take the pictures. but now I have made a mounting system with a rubber strap that latches on to the chassis by the battery box. |

| Awesome man I appreciate that. I hate clicking too. I was almost not even going to start this thread because I couldn't post the actual pictures. I am going to be getting a star or two soon so I can post pics easier. |

| Well I have done the gear swaps, rotated the axle mounts and relocated the upper shock mounts now. The cog is a lot lower now and the wb is 12" on the dot. unfortunetely I had to opt back to the stock body for now because the fj hard body has way to much rubbing under flex. I hope that it won't be that bad when I put the rubi body on. Well I should have some action shots soon because the snow is melting around here now. |
