Default Dapco Hobbies Chubbuck Fun Crawl Sept 27th

We are working on the crawling pit to get it ready for a Fun Crawl on Sept 27th. Fits right in before a bunch of you head off to Moab!! I have not nailed down the time yet but should be looking around 12-2 or something like that. This is a Fun Crawl not a comp.
We will have a few courses laid out and some really simple rules. Free pizza and soda for everybody. We will also have raffle prizes that all entered drivers will have a shot at. So even if you can't finish the easiest trail you still may walk away with some free stuff!!!!
Anybody that wants to stop by and give some input on the pit is welcome. We will lay out the course on Sat Morning. Hoping to have a log bridge, a rope bridge, and some double whammy ledges all set up. Terrain is slate rock with some slick river rock mixed in.
I should get some pics up soon. It is a work in progress, and any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Most of the guys run 2.2 and smaller. Might be a little small for super right now. Of course all this could change---nothing set in stone yet.

slowngreen---come on up... the more the merrier. Also we hope to have quite a few prizes to hand out.

Here are a few more pics of what we have to work with.

Reference to show size. This is a small part of the course with 2.2 crawlers going down a "waterfall".

The pit is actually the swell outside the shop that we hauled in and filled with slate rock. It is 23' x 26'.

Advanced Suspension Design (Banana-head) will try to be there for the event, if it works out we can bring some of our proto-type goodies.

We were thinking 12-2. Free sodas and pizza. I think that will give everybody time to get down here and not interfere with evening plans. Let me know what you think. We are a little flexible, but don't want to run to late so everybody can enjoy the weekend. Should have a good turn out for the raffle. We will probably set up 2-3 courses and maybe let some of you set up a couple???? Just going to try and have some fun and see what we all can do!

131 Evans across from Mckees. Get off the chubbuck exit ,turn towards the Shell station (north), and take the 2nd right (east) between Subway and Johny B Goode's. We are next door to Allstate and the corner building.

We just added another swell--about 10' x 20' filled with Lava rocks. So it should offer tons of traction. I will try to get a pic up of it as well.

If you guys want to show up early and help us set up courses you are welcome to. We have a few ideas but nothing laid out yet. Thanks guys!
