| Tekin - McCall Crawl on the Cliffs
Anyone interested in a casual crawl gathering in McCall? We have a pretty epic location at the back of the lake on the granite cliffs. Good access and easy trails all over this amazing area. We hope to develop a regional event under the Tekin banner in the coming years. We plan to have some test weekends to get it all figured out. Plenty of country for everything from 1.9 scale to 2.2 comp. Tekin Prez Jim Campbell Last edited by Tekin Prez; 05-21-2010 at 06:07 PM. |

Man, I'd love to if McCall wasn't so far away from me, I've heard it's a beautiful area and would like to see it sometime. When are you planning this?

No firm plans for an actual event. We are thinking some casual free crawl days to figure out the logistics for a meaningful event. We would like to work with the local crawling clubs and get everyone involved. We are available about anytime unless we are out of town. I plan to see if we can get there yet this weekend and might do a little Sat exploring. In general early in the year is pretty good. The creek near by is ragin, the plants are green, temps are cool and the bugs are not out too bad. Bugs could be the factor some of the time during the year. The forest will eat you Late in the year it is drier and the bugs tend to be gone. The rocks can be hot in the direct sun but there is enough trees and elevation changes to find some shade most of the day. Last edited by Tekin Prez; 05-21-2010 at 10:03 AM. |

Jim Are you going to be heading the the Axial West Coast Championship in Cali? My Son & I are going to be heading out on Wednesday and camping out at the park for the LCQ on Friday and then kick some butt on Saturday morning Do you sell your pullover in kids sizes? I Would like to get my boy one, like your wearing in the picture to represent in Cali (he's always cold) |

Next weekend we are going to the Hank in Spokane. Then off to Alabama for for what is shaping up to be a pretty serious 1/8 electric buggy event. Looks like we will be able to make the RSpro series race in boise as well so it will be a full month. We go down to small on hoodies and shirts. They are pretty small and most kids like them a little big. You can contact me directly by email. |

Appears I did not think this thru very well... I invited everyone to come crawl and then posted that we are not going to be here. I did check it out and all is good at the cliffs. We will be gone this weekend, but the next 2 might work. |

I assume you mean our offroad track? It is in pretty bad shape right now because of the slow spring and constant weather we have had. We are planning to bring in top soil and rebuild it completely, but it is still too wet to dig it up and haul. Right now it is extremely rocky and blown out due to the Truggy rototillers. You are welcome to drive on it anytime, but beware. Looks like I am skipping Alabama and Randy is handling it. So next Sat June 5 might work pretty good. Pretty sure the 5th works for me. Providing I get a servo that works for longer then a course.

Is everyone driving up Sat morning or Friday night? Around noon for meeting up at the site Sat, maybe earlier if people want to meet for breakfast. If anyone is camping I can see a Friday night beer crawl Looks like 4 or 5 guys so far. I assume each of you might have a partner or family group coming with you?
