It's looking like Tim Hethcox might cover the shop for me on Sunday, so we may be able to attend this one too. Sounds like a lot of fun.

So with the new rules, using the last comp as a for instance, James running the 1.9 in each of the courses while I ran the 2.2 would have counted as a complete for both classes? If we're up to it, would we still be able to trade off and each run each course with both classes, or will we need to each pick one class to run per course? Or is a hand off necessary - i.e. if I run the 2.2 on the 150, do I have to only run the 1.9 on the 100 while James runs the other class? Sorry for the fifty questions, heh.

I'll buy a pull pal from you if you could bring an extra up Sunday?

Thanks,
Will

That is great that you might be able to come out Will.

To answer you questions, in the instance of running like you and James did last Comp where you had a 2.2 and he had a 1.9 you and James could after running either each course or after running all courses (whichever works best for the specific day and Competition Style). You could turn around and run the 1.9 through the courses again and James could run your 2.2 we would just give you another number for the class you are running. It will allow you and James to run twice as much if your cars are still running and you have the energy to.

That being said if you want your points to Count toward the series you will need to make sure you pay for each class for yourself and James.

I hope this helped. I will get some PullPal's made up this week and bring out a few. They will run 14.99 each.

Thanks for coming out. It's always more fun with a bigger crowd. I managed to not break this time. Even the new winch worked perfect.

Thanks again Chris and all that helped out for yet another great event. See you guys at the next one. The wife wants me to get my other Wraith up and running so she can drive too.

Thanks everyone for coming out. We will get the scores up on the site probably tomorrow since Thomas is still out sick. The Courses were definitely tough but a lot of fun. We hope to do another comp in between now and the October Comp but we will let you know what is going on well in advance.

What was everyone's impression of the new rules any problems with the penalties or winching rules for 1.9? I have already tallied the scores and it seems like everyone tried the best they could not to hit gates and drive a clean course. Great Job Everyone

Fall Series - Comp #3
Scores

The Scores are up on ZNO-RC.com in the Events Section. Thanks to everyone coming out and thanks for your patience on us getting the scores up.

The next Comp of the Series on the Calendar is Reynolds Creek Comp #4. This will be our biggest event of the Fall Season so do what you can to make it out to this event. There will be something to do all weekend and a lot of fun courses with 500+ Gates. We will get more info up soon. We also hope to do a fun bonus Comp for the series sometime between now and the October Reynolds Comp so keep checking in.

Note to self: when using Red Loc-Tite, ensure both bearings are on the locker BEFORE installing in the wraith, cinching down the Felsenfast lockers on the axles, and letting it cure overnight. DOH! Haven't tried to remove yet. Hoping the Hakko iron might heat it up enough to break it free without melting the axle housing. Might pick up a little torch from Harbor Freight. Should have just gone with the Hot Racing lockers like Chris said.

Wraith winch and James' SCX10 are fixed and ready to go though. So is the Comp Crawler. Looking forward to the October comp! Still thinking about doing an in-betweener at some point?

That's great. Sounds like something I would do.

I've got to make time to work on my crawlers...Still broken from the last comp. I was wanting to bring out the 1:1 to play, but I broke a front shock mount. Got to get time to re-weld it.

Looking foward to the comp.

Hey guys we are prepping now for the biggest event of the Fall Series. We are making more gates and new and fun things to do on the courses. I will get the details for this comp up in the next week with times and event schedules for the October Weekend Scale Comp.

It has been to long since we have run our Scalers though and we really want to get everyone out for a Bonus Day Comp. We are looking at doing a comp either Sunday 9-30 or Sunday 10-7. It will be just a one course comp in Eagle or Boise from 12:30 to 5.

Let us know what day works best for you and we will get this bonus comp setup.

Thanks guys.

I'm really looking foward to the campout event!

I could make either the 30th or 7th work. I might prefer the 7th... I have a new shotgun, I was thinking of chasing quail and chucker this weekend...
