July-Dec Comp Series

Some of the new things for this season are that we are going to be charging for the events if you plan on competing in the series. To continue to run these events and the series we are constantly having to do repairs to the competition supplies and buy new supplies for some of the events. To help with this we are going to charge for each Class 1.9 and 2.2. This being said you do not need to buy a ticket to run the events for the individual events. If you are new to scale competitions we do not want you to feel obligated or turned away because of the cost of the events. However you will not be eligible to place in the series if you are not a Contributing Member of the Series and Idaho Rock Mafia GSC. There will be awards for the participants that buy into the series and those that buy a season pass for the events will get a t-shirt. We will have more information on this at the Competitions so feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I did get my Wraith up and running and broke it in about two minutes. I did not have it in a bind or anything and the front universal snapped both tabs off.

Ok, I was able to trade days around. I am now off on the 10th of Nov.

Wow, that might be a defect! I would contact Axial. I've been running one of those in my wraith with a Pro4 with no issues. I did break a dog bone, now I'm running a VP CVD in the front; and a universal in the rear.

I sent them a email and they have a set of replacements on the way. I am going to order up a set of VP ones and I am now thinking of going rear steer.

Warm Springs & Gowen is the Correct location and Date. Sorry it has taken me so long to get on here and post any information up on the next events to end the series. We have been really swamped at work and Thomas is finally on his way to get his kidney transplant in Arizona so that is great news but will also hinder how much time we have to get things planned and on the site and on here. If anyone ever has any questions on events please give us a call or send us a pm.

We usually have the VP Wraith and SCX10 Axles in stock if you are looking at getting some and if we dont we can have them in 3 days. At least that way it will save you a little on shipping. We also make it into Boise at least once a week so if anyone needs anything delivered just give us a call that way you dont need to drive out our direction.

At the next comp @ Warm Springs we will be running 2 Courses in the one day and no Tough Truck Challenges. It will be scored off of time that you accumulated throughout the day.

We would greatly appreciate help setting up the courses on that Saturday morning if you are available.

Fall Series - Comp #5

November 10th
Warm Springs & Gowen Road

GPS Location: N 43° 32' 39.5438", W 116° 5' 51.3359"

Time Saturday- 9:00am Signups
9:30pm - Course 1 Starts
5:30pm - End of Day no More Running

Course 1 will be the Long Course (150-250 Gates Possible)
Course 2 will be the Shorter Course at 100 Gates

If you are able to come out and help set courses we would greatly appreciate it. Cory and Ward set an awesome course last event and did a great job so we will be definitely using more of our club members to diversify our courses as you are available to help. We try to be on location for the comp about 1.5 - 2 hours before the event to setup so I will probably be pulling into the area around 7:45 or 8:00
