Dino, Dino, Dino. For those not on RCCrawler, I gave the option to vote via Facebook or Twitter. Or are you so elitist that if someone's not on this forum they have no right to the vote? Hmm...
That is funny that you think Dino would post up this much information .

The ZNO-RC profile is maintained by me (me being Chris) and if anyone knows me they would know that I do actually rebel against FaceBook. So I didn't hear, are the votes via Facebook going to throw off the vote?

Chris, I suppose I made a mistake by not quoting Dino in his earlier post jokingly suggesting rigging the vote by saying there were five random votes for the 29th. I had posted about the new guy Ryan, whom you already added to the tally for the 22nd.

Details For:

2012
GSC Fall Series Finale
Comp #6

Location
ZNO-RC Hobby Shop

8395 W Idaho Blvd
Letha
83636

Time:

Signups - 11am

Comp Start -
Noon
Comp Ends - Whenever we get done

Awards - Following Comp

Details-

This Comp will be a different than our normal comps as it will be a Tough Truck Comp. These are the events we know we will have:

Lap Racing in the 1.9 and 2.2 Classes-
3 Heats of 1.9 and 2.2 ShortCourse/RockRacing Course. Each Heat will consist of a few laps. Your Final Placement in the Racing will be your score. The track will be wide and we will do a bomb run start all 1.9 will start at the same time and the same for the 2.2.

Frame Twister Rock Race-
Timed Race through our 20' Rock Maze the Fastest time without hitting the Boundarys Wins.

Rally Cross Side By Side Race-
2 Competitors at a time to run the Continuous Lap Race. One Competitor Starts at the Start/Finish and the other starts halfway around the course. 2 Laps and a standard knockout style running. You will start according to your standing in the Series.

Sled Pull 1.9 and 2.2 Classes-
This will be the last Comp of the day. That way you can push your car as hard as you want through each heat. Here are some of the differences in this Comp since the last time we ran it:
  • Gearing Can Be Changed in your car throughout the day and for the Sled Pull. (Gear up if you Dare )
  • We are going to run it on the Asphault that way it will be an even playing field for everyone and the run will remain the same without holes. (Tire Changes are also allowed if you are interested in changing for the asphault surface - you have to keep the same diameter wheel you start with)
  • Weight can be added to your truck for the Sled Pull. Make sure it is scale looking. Tractor Style Weights on the bumper are highly encouraged or spare tires with lead on the hood or front bumper. (No Rocks, bricks, or Sticky Lead on the bumpers)
  • Fans will be available for cooling if you need to cool your motor/esc between runs
Keep Checking in for more event details and information. If you have any questions let us know via PM, Email, or by Phone. Thanks guys for a great season and we look forward to a great Finale. We will have snacks during the day but you will need to bring your own food or visit one of our local restaurants during the day.

Merry Christmas Everyone See you in a week!!!

Well the comp was a lot of fun. Amanda took a ton of pictures so now we just have to get them loaded. My quad copter flies great, I just can't fly very well yet. Broke the props first thing. Waiting on the new ones.

You might need to order 6 or 7 sets for it cause if you fly like you drive you will need them lol.

Location change for Sundays planning session: Whitewater Pizza & Pasta at 3223 E Louise Dr, near the corner of Eagle and Franklin. The last place just got a new owner who closed it for remodeling.

Exclamation Re: Godfather Scale Challenge - 2012 Fall Series

So we just got a news update here at ZNO-RC that is going to affect our next competition. We had our 1st competition of the 2013 Series scheduled for this coming Sunday, but it turns our the NFL has decided to schedule their Super Bowl on the same day. Ridiculous right. Well all in all that will be ok since the snow has not yet melted down enough for us to get out there. We will be cancelling our Feb 3rd comp and moving our series start date back to the next comp of Feb 24th. Please let everyone know that because of this new update, we will be allowing them to watch the Super Bowl.

Your Welcome!
