Nothing local. We have a lot of Idaho guys headed out to Cisco Grove, CA for Axialfest 2013.

I think there would be some good crawling south of jackpot in the rock fields, but cannot wait to meet some of you for the city of rocks or Twin comps.

ZNO-RC GSC 2013 Spring Series Bonus Comp #5.5

Details:
Where: Banks Beach, ID (Almost 1 miles south of the Banks/Lowman turnoff)
Coordinates: 44.073959,-116.119749

When:
Date: Thursday, June 27th
Arrive: 6:00-6:15 pm
Tech-In: 6:30 pm
Course Start: 6:45 pm

Dust off those scalers and get them ready to do some comp'n! (Unless of course you were one of the lucky few that made it to Axialfest 2013, then you should probably fix your rigs first!). We've got a bonus comp coming up to improve your overall standing score for the season. This comp's scores will replace your worst score from comps 4 and 5. This is the second to last comp of the 2013 Spring Series.

The comp is being held at the Banks Beach picnic area just about a mile south of Banks. You should see us there not far from the road on the river side. We are going to be doing a few short courses or possible one big one (haven't decided yet). Either way, even if your not interested in or part of the series stats, you should still come out and have a good time.

Thank you everyone for coming out. We weren't really sure what to expect for turn out because its been so long since the last comp but we were very pleased to see a lot of enthusiastic competitors show up ready to run. The courses were hard, tight, and brutal but at the end of the day we had a lot of fun and the final times ended up being really close.

Well it is kind of disappointing to a newb like me that was looking forward to attending a comp at city of rocks, or anywhere near twin. Being a newb, I don't have the needed equipment, or the know how, to even attempt hosting a comp in our area or I would; but I suppose, I need to make an effort to attend a few to better learn.
