Fun time today. Bummed I had to leave before running my 2.2 Can't wait for the next one.

Be sure to come out to some comps. Wait to you run a 150 gate course over a couple of miles. Or one of our night runs, some of the most fun I've had running my RC.

Yes a huge thanks to Greg and the rest of the Werks crew for inviting us and being such great hosts. The course was tough enough to melt down my BEC on my 2.2 and heat up the motor on my 1.9. I had a great time and thanks to everyone that showed up to make it huge success.

Just a heads up on the scores. We have them all tallied up and about ready to post. We are just double checking all the scores and scale points and will have them up in just a few hours.

As a note to Clent and Beaver: We have your book Clent but it looks like the pages were ripped out. Not sure if you took them with you. Beaver: we don't have your book at all. Let us know if you still have it.

First of all we would like to thank everyone that came out to the event. Without the competitors and the spectators there is no sport! A big thank you to Werx RC for hosting our club at the event and for being so welcoming and understanding as we put a lot of miles on their indoor arena on Saturday. It was a very fun course to drive on and while competing in an enclosed space had its challenges, it definitely paid off with a great overall event.

Below you will find the final placements for the day. They are also posted on our website in the events section (ZNO-RC.com) with more details. Later tonight we will also post up each course's placements on our site (just click on the "GSC #1").

Here are the final placements for the 1.9 Class:

1 Chad Schaffer
2 Cory M.
3 Dino C.
3 Jeff Burlington
3 Dennis Randell
6 Ray Cruise
7 Chev Campbell
7 John Uhl
9 Keenan Cruise
10 Jason Rush
11 Scott
12 Adam Harmel
12 AJ Huddleston
12 Jason Naillon
15 Brian Hurdman
16 Sherri O.
17 Agama
18 Mike S.
19 Chris Lammey
20 John Laude
21 Erica O.
21 Beaver Stem
23 Cody Miller
24 Nick G.
25 Amanda C.
25 Moose
27 Thomas C.

Congrats to Chad, Cory, and Dino!

Here are the final placements for the 2.2 Class:

1 Thomas C.
2 Ward
2 Cory M.
4 Carl Harris
5 Clent Hollister
6 Jason Hurdman
7 Dino C.
8 Nick W.
8 Agama
8 Scott
8 Karlene
8 Jaime

Congratulations to Thomas, Ward, and Cory!

Note: You may also see that there are people like Nick, Jaime, and Karlene that did not compete but were placed. That is because by our rule system, if any competitor shows up but does not run, they will still receive a score for the day. This helps for the overall GSC Series stats for GSC Series Season Pass Holders.

We are heading up to Upper Renolds Creek on Friday morning. We plan to spend the day up there crawling. We will be having a fire as well in the evening. Anyone up for joining us let me know.

I might be able to make it. Is that past Emmet? Or do you have a GPS coordination on hand?

That would be cool if you can make it out!

Here are the GPS

Name: Upper Reynolds Creek
Location: N 43° 15' 28.1907", W 116° 42' 28.5672"
Terrain: Rock Groupings Large and Small
Traction: Variety of Traction Granite
Season: Spring or Fall
Misc: 6 miles past lower Reynolds Creek and Higher Elevation. Nice since it is Secluded. Great Area for Camping. No Shade

It's the same place where we held comp #4 of our fall series:

Godfather Scale Challenge - 2012 Fall Series

Lots of great places out there. It's supposed to be 55 and sunny there tomorrow.

Anyone else in? I hope to be headed that way around 10am.
