The courses were very fun and challenging. We want to thank everyone who came out early on their Sunday to help set up. We always try to through in a few new courses with some rule changes or course design changes that really mix things up. I think that was definitely the case on that last course. Mixing the Frame Twiser and a Comp Crawl was very interesting and made for some technical driving opportunities. However, it will probably be a concept we wont be doing again as it strayed from our original competition style of running scalers in a KOH racing design. Counting reverses is definitely not our thing . We love trying new things and we thank everyone for making this event a lot of fun. We'll do our best to throw a few more ideas in the next comp as well.

Was a fun comp, thanks again guys!

I'll have to agree on the last course. Not my favorite, reminded me too much of my old comp days in Colorado, where we would line up for 12 hours to run three 5 min courses and hope to have daylight left for a finals course. Way too much time standing around waiting to drive. The reason I sold all of my comp rigs and got into scalers. I am loving the KOH racing / G6 type of events and think the ZNO crew is pulling of some of the best comps / course I've driven on. Great job guys, keep it up!!

I won't be able to make it out Thursday night, have fun all, see you at the next one.

No problem. That was a blast of a run. I do love comps at Cobblestone. Running in the dark sure makes me look forward to upcoming night runs! It also makes it impossible to find the treasures. I set the treasure but didn't find a single one. :(

Just as a heads up. The GSC Spring Series scores are updated on our website. If anyone wants to see how we come up with the GSC Series Scores just PM me and I will email you the spreadsheet.

We also finally loaded the individual course scores for the Warm Springs Comp.

You can't camp in the 'park' area but we don't comp there anyways. You can camp down in the valley though where we'll be running. I'm looking at possibly camping Saturday night as well.

I have never been to one of the comps, but was thinking about trying to make one. What do I need to know before I go?

Just come on out and have a fun time. Have some fresh packs, and parts ready. That's about it.

Is anyone camping out tonight? We are thinking about it.

Me, the wife, and kids are headed out tonight to set up camp. I'm using Chris's camp trailer. Figured he wouldn't need it

Not much is required. Just make sure you have some water and a lunch. The comps are designed around 1/10th scale electric 4x4 scalers (primarily axial based). We wont hold anyone back from running even if your rig doesn't quite meet the rule requirements. However if that is the case your score wont be included in the final running. Other than that, batteries are a must. This event will be pretty low key though so 2 3000mah+ batteries should do it. We will help you out in any way we can. Come and enjoy!

Oh, and "Keep if Fresh"!

Sounds good. Will see if I can make it. I'm sure I would be entertaining for others to watch anyway!
