ZNO-RC Godfather Scale Challenge - 2013 Fall Series
 

Its that time again (actually we're a little late but so be it). The 2013 ZNO-RC Fall Series is starting up and as usual we want to get as many people in the group together before the series to go over some of the rule changes, event changes, and the upcoming schedule. This season will be a little different than before as we will be running less weekend comps and more mid week, evening comps.

The meeting will be held at the Quiznos in Eagle by the Boise River at 6:30pm on Monday 9/16. If you want to get some food as well, try to show up a few min earlier. We will also be holding our first comp that day as well right after the meeting. It will be a short single course comp out by the river around the same location. Below is the address.

If you can spare the time to make it to the meeting before the comp we would definitely appreciate it so that we can get as much input as possible toward the upcoming season.

Just caught this so missed the meeting. Is there a link for date of other runs? Are these trail runs or comps?

Godfather Scale Challenge Comp #2 - Waterfall Trail Run

This comp is not much of a comp at all. We're doing a 'scored' Trail Run/Follow the Leader. Realisticly though it's not even scored. The only score you get is for showing up and running at the designated time. Not showing up will affect your season score by 2 positions.

The Trail Run will be from the lower parking lot up to the waterfall and back. Details and rules about the run will be gone over before the trail run begins... or possibly half way through it. The weather looks good but cold and you may bring a head lamp or flash light just in case.

Sounds like a lot of fun. That's a great area. I really want to try to make it... I have to work until 6... I'll see if I can pull it off.

How about another trail run / get together on Saturday?

That would be sweet. Unfortunately I can't make it. We're taking the girls to Disneyland for vacation.

GREAT TRAIL RUN!! We had a great turn out with an awesome group of guys (and gal) show up. The weather really held out for us and actually seemed to get warmer as it got darker.
