Default Josh & Brian Need Help - LHR Crawling Course

Guys,
Brian and I were out at LHR and got a very good idea about the course that they would like to build. The desire is to have this completed ASAP. Here is the plan:

We will be building the course starting at 10am on SUNDAY 6/8/2008. YES I understand that this is also the BASH at Jeff's Farm. We also know that not everybody will be attending that entire weekend event for one reason or another. I for one will be at Jeff's Saturday...Sleep at the hotel....and head out to LHR from the hotel Sunday morning. I am not asking anybody to do something that I am not doing myself. We just have a very short time-frame....and a lot of work to do.

ANYBODY that is able to assist at LHR please post. This is not a post for "Maybe" responses. We need definite assistance. I hope that we can get a LARGE turn-out and get this course built. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The following weekend (June 14th & 15th) are busy. The 14th is the BIG SQUID BASH at LHR and the 15th is Father's Day. LHR really wants to get this rolling...the outdoor season is pretty short here in the Midwest. The quicker that this is completed, the sooner that we have another crawling location. The trick to this location is the build phase....and this is where we need help. More hands make this tough task go faster. For 2 of us to do this....it is just tooo much. I will be there on the 14th for the BASH.....so I am willing to put in hours at that time...if LHR will allow construction during the bash.

We really could use SOME assistance. This is a great opportunity to lend some input in the design of this new course, as well as lend a helping hand to make it all happen. At all of the SCRC comps, people say that they would like another solid location for crawling....this is one of those chances to get one of those locations. We will be out there at 10am on Sunday (6/ (Unless weather kills it...then I will post here that it is cancelled....but odds are huge that this day of building will happen) Please post here that you will join us with this project. If you need to talk to me, please send me a PM...and I will reply with a cell number.

The 2hrs the 4 of us put in was very productive (Myself, my wife, Josh and Brian). Im glad we all left before that nasty weather rolled in. I was disappointed that there wasnt more help from the club but Im sure the weather had something to do with that. Im also a little dissapointed that LHR didnt have some paid employees out there working but, maybe they will work on it on their own now that we got the ball rolling for them. Im hoping the course does well for them and they decide to build biger and better in the future, I think the "sudo urban" crawling theme that we setup will make for some interesting comps... And the different tectures will add a level of difficulty.

I do appreciate the assistance that did make a showing on Sunday....I also am a bit disappointed by the lack of support from other people/members. Hopefully on near future additional build days more people will make the effort to come out and help with this large build. Many hands make the work go faster. The sooner that it is built....the sooner that it can be a great crawling location.
