C.I.R.C. (Central Illinois Rock Crawling)

I live in Decatur, Illinois and I am trying to get a club going along with the help of my Uncle (JDAWG53) and some friends. So please let me know if there is any interest.

We are also trying to get a Fall Crawl going so any feedback and help would be aprreciated. Here is a link to some pics of my buddy's course behind his house. We still have some work to do but is should turn out nice. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/a...&id=1101304620

I'm the burly one with the beard and my buddy brandon is the one with the gas.

trust me, once you organize a club, the crawlers come out. "thumbsup" It also gives you bargaining power with shops, possible recognition for nationals etc.

What info do you need? Set a date (give everyone a little notice), post it up, and whomever shows shows. We just need to start doing it and people will start showing.
Anyone interested in joining CIRC send me a pm.
Thanks
J

I'm 100% dedicated to Scale rigs now, but anytime you guys need help setting up or running an event please let me know. I just moved here and was the president of SoCal Rock Crawlers (60+ members) so I know a thing or two about organizing this stuff.

I'll be building a nice scale trail in my backyard pretty soon and I'll be sure to have a BBQ to celebrate it's completion.

olskillywilly 11-19-2009 10:32 AM

pigeonfarmboy 11-21-2009 07:51 AM

Dunno about the famous part, the crawling scene in Socal is great, but that's about it. I grew up here (and played hockey in Decatur).

I still have the Beckworks.

PM me your phone number so I can bug you when I need a crawl fix.

Where's the info for this 21st shindig?
