I'll be there Picked up some new Panther Leopards going to be a while before I get it dialed in weight and foam wise. Hopefully it will be warm enough this weekend for testing.

Eddie's foams (novas ark)are supposed to be the ticket for those man. Worth a shot.

Barring any emergency work travel, I plan on being there. I am very curious how the Castle Update (v3.19) truly effects the drag brake. I did the upgrade....and upped my CUSTOM Drag Brake setting to 128%. It feels like the drag brake is improved, and on my incline board it definitely is better, but we all know that on the rocks that things behave differently. I am just very curious if Castle really came thru on this one. Also, I just cut some new polycarbonate body panels out of material that is 1/3 the thickness of the original panels. It should shave some weight off of the higher part of the truck....drop the COG a tad.

looks like old rock pile not new course...

I was there at lunch and they said that no one from the club (except Javier and myself) has been coming in at all and they don't know that its worth the effort (not to mention the money they have in the pile) to change it over.

do they realize that,
1. x-mas is right around the corner so hobby stuff needs to be put on hold somewhat
2. The weather is crappy and hardly anyone is outside crawling and breaking stuff.
3. Most of the guys in the club live at least an hour away.
4. They really don't stock that much crawler stuff realisticaly, so I'm not gonna drive an hour and a half to look at 1 case of items and go home cause I already have all of it.
5. Why would they try and almost blackmail us to use OUR stuff in their store when OUR stuff is better than the avalanche wall.

Weird and just my opinion.
The guys that work there are cool but I've never seen one of them with a crawler in their hands so.....
Still will continue to go there and support them but maybe they need to be a little more involved and not just tossing us some money for iHobby and thinking that now they are TCS or CKRC.

CRAP:-x

Their course is awful which is why nobody visits.

Maybe we should start to look for new locations to set up in?

Yeah I like them but to rich for my blood. Bought some foam sheets from Mcmaster, experimenting with different setups. I almost feel a memory foam setup is necessary for a stick to dampen what the suspension cannot on steep climbs. But, we'll see I guess everybody seems to hate memory foams, I still like them but want find out why normal foams are so much better. The lightness and no sensitivity to cold is a plus I guess.

I agree, between all of us on here in the club we need to find someone we know that might have some extra warehouse space, an old building(or just a corner of one) not being used we can set up in for the comps? Just an idea, i've been thinkin of askin Bill at the Speed Shop if there is any place there in his other building we could use? Or anyone he knows too? I'll work on this as much as possible, as I might not be on here for a little bit cause laptop is going back to rent-a-center and my computer is down and waiting to be repaired!!!

I got a couple squirell early in the season before the frost. 1 I couldn't get to skin at all. The next one was tough but did it. I think it needs to get a tad colder before I go back out for more. Rabbit, Hell skinning them is like taking a sock off so only If I could find one lol.
I've seen quite a bit of deer around me. My buddy has a cam down the road and is catching heards at dawn and dusk. Unfortunatly you can see the ribs on every one.
I got my bow all ready and my stand is begging me to sit in it but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go out this year for deer. Maybe we'll see. I'd rather stock the freezer with squirell and rabbit anyway.

My fortea is bird season I'm out as much as possible with a trophy english setter in arkansas
Usually yeild about 18-20 a day quail wise 1-3 cocks and hens
Good luck on your endevour!

btw, Is deer hunting actually hunting? Or is it more like waiting lol
