because I know it will be asked...

Winching: vehicle winching may be used in the obsticle course mini Rubicon and tank trap. No penalty will be assesed but, time will NOT stop. Vehicle must be winched from a designated winching point.

Vehicle sharing: 1 driver per truck. if you own the vehicle in conjunction with someone else, please determine the driver ahead of time.

Spotter: you may designate 1 spotter at check in. this spotter will be the only person allowed to right your vehicle in a rollover or assist in winching. No other spectator may help.

So is G3 half of what a G6 event is?

The Axial/Recon events are called G6.

Anyways, I'll bring the c-10 out of retirement for this.

Actually, it is... I was thinking the ungodly long trail run without the competition stages... therefore g3

Its going to be a full day of events as it is just with the TTC and the KoF. I figure with the distance some will be driving, I want to have stuff alllllll day long right till about dark.

I pretty sure I will not be able to make this event.

My daughter Softball is going to take a lot of my weekend time.

I have also decided to stay local with these gas prices. I just saw $3.99 a gallon today It is the only way I feel to bet the system. I bet it's $4.50 by summer.

Sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Thought I would show you some of the terrain...
The hill climb course (needs some grooming):

The Truck pull... flat level land is boring, Im going for like the 1:1 event

Little glimpse of the mini rubicon

This is the area where the tank trap will possibly go

KoF race course (bits and pieces of it):

Jeff, I plan on making this.

Anyone from up my way that would like to car pool, I can probably get 2 in the car with 2 trucks each if we share tools. I will steal the wifes nissan for the day so we can get some decent milage.

Wonder if we can get him to carve out a Rally course for us too? ;)

rally/sct course would take about 15mins with the tiller... a few mins more to move some dirt with the grader blade for small jumps. Big jumps can be done with a little creative land use. The area over where the rock pile is, is just used for playing so I have no issues tilling an area up.

I dont know for sure if I posted this in this thread... on site camping is available. I have running water and a flushing toilet in the cabin and free firewood. Also, for those wanting to not make the drive and not camp, there are several hotels in the Champaign area within 20mins drive. Also, while your in the area you should really check out Slot and Wing (as seen on that 70's show). Its a hobbyshop like you have never seen... original in box bolinks, out of production bodies etc.

1 month warning!!!

need to start getting an idea who is coming so I know how many brats/dogs to buy.

Ive got some ideas to make this a monster of a TTC, your really going to have get your setups dead on. I wouldnt worry too much about water, Im going to try to keep it fairly shallow and mud thick.

I HIGHLY encourage everyone to carpool and share the gas money.

I am up for it, one 2.2 and one 1.9. Trying to get a couple more from NIRC to go with as I can only hold a couple more with gear in my HHR.

I'm trying to talk a friend into going down. Not sure what the deal is yet but I'd really like to go.
I can pitch in for gas, beer and food too... or what have ya.

I think all I need is a hitch and my bug is good to go.

How many people are camping?
