I'm going to do a shift trade so I can be there. Maybe my brother-in-law and nephew to watch. Since he ran my slash he's hooked. He's like 5 yo. Can't wait.

Can anyone give me exact directions to "The Farm"? I am not familiar with the Champaign area. Even if someone was willing to meet me at Slot and Wing Hobbies or somewhere in Champaign, that would be great.

super easy from Champaign.

I74 east to exit 200
Turn right (south)
go to stop sign by grain elevator, keep going straight
road will start as a paved/gravel patched road you will come to a stop sign, keep going straight, road will turn all gravel
Go down and hill and over a river then back up the hill. At the top of the hill is a road to the left, turn left (at the road not the driveway). Follow the road around, it will turn right and go down a hill and then back up, then a small dip and then down a bigger hill into a valley. Once you start seeing white fence you are close. Its the only place in the valley, white barn out front, brown and white barn in the back. You can either park in the driveway or go across the bridge and park.

the question of weight has come up...

Your truck must compete in each event with the same weight as when checked in. You may not add or remove any weight. There will of course be weight added by mud, this will not be counted.

All added weight must be hidden. No suitcase weights or blocks of lead may be exposed.

Where did I get the idea you were going 1/2 of a G6 (G3?)? Here I was working on my 1.9. But if it is really a TTC, then mine is ready to go (minus the fixes from this coming weekend).

Because I said if there was interest and time we would run a massive hardcore trail run after the ttc and race.

If the water level is low, I have a killer idea for the trail run too...

The event is open to all who wish to attend... just remember, if you come you have to bring food of some kind. Its kind of a tradition, I grill brats and dogs for everyone and we make it kind of a pot luck.

So there will be a grill going for a while? Should we bring extra charcoal or anything like that?
I can bring some sausages too... a lot easier then cooking anything with actual prep time: burgers, chicken... ribs. Dang, now I'm hungry!

Can we drink beer out there?
I'm planning on staying in a tent.

you can drink after the event but, no getting drunk. Anyone that gets drunk will deal with my prankster side (you'll prolly wake up in a tree).

I have the Brats/Dogs and everything that goes with that covered... I usually buy a bag or 2 of chips but, drinks/sides/deserts are on you guys.
