June 11 2011... Central Il biggest event

June 11 2011

10am start

13063 N 250 E rd
Fairmount IL 60446

In the event of Rain or Flooding the event will be pushed to (Ill post that later)
There will be a 4 event Top Truck Challange for 2.2 and 1.9 trucks.

After the TTC we will be holding the KoF race... this year it will be about 4x's as long. There will be huge hill climbs, long open area's and any other thing I can think to include. We will use the same rules as last year (2.2 and smaller, at least 1 solid axle etc)

$5 per class entry... winner of each class gets 100% of the proceeds from that class.

sally1800 02-21-2011 07:47 AM

When will the rules be finished on all classes. I might try to take this event on.

I got a few rigs that might fit.

thanks

jetboat 02-21-2011 07:52 AM

what rules are you looking for? Were running the same rules as last yr for the KoF race and 2.2 class rules for the TTC are done with the exception of a weight.

1.9 rules were proposed on the scrc site but noone agreed so I think we will run the "trail" rules we ran last year with the exception of no bonus points and no penalty for winching.

Of course, since this is my personal event... I could make up my own rules...(insert evil laugh here)

I never saw these KOH rules last year. Is there a link to them.

Also I saw you wrote 7.5lb max for TTC. I think that is kinda light. But your rules.

I hope to see them finalist soon.

jetboat 02-21-2011 08:20 AM

if you saw the talk about 7.5# then you know where the rules are but...
http://scrcrawlers.com/smf/index.php?topic=224.0 I think they are basically on page 3.

we didnt have TTC rules last yr, just KoF rules... Ill look them up and post them for everyone. Expect it to be about 10min a lap and I havent decided how many laps .

The farm is a drive but its usually a blast. Ive been having comps out there since '05. There camping available onsite and a bon fire for anyone that stays the night (I tend to make BIG bon fires).

S ARR T 8 02-21-2011 08:26 AM

just looking at the TTC ruels and scoring for Colorado would ours be the same?

jetboat 02-21-2011 08:36 AM

KoF rules:

Timed event, lowest time wins
2.2 and scale trucks only
must have at least 1 solid axle

Rollovers = 10 sec
Gate = 30 sec

multiple trucks may be on the course at any time

course may/will include:
Rocks
Grass
Sand
Mud
shallow water
hills
logs

jetboat 02-21-2011 08:36 AM

scoring is addressed in the rules that I posted a link to

I only ask one question gate width?

jetboat 02-21-2011 08:57 AM

depends how evil I am feeling that day... Honestly though, we may make it checkpoints and get rid of the penalty for hitting a gate.

S ARR T 8 02-21-2011 09:03 AM

Saw thr TTC ruels in the club site"thumbsup"Should be a great event got plenty of time for practice and tunning.

jetboat 02-21-2011 01:12 PM
