I think I can make a go of it here in Cali. Had a pretty good meeting here today... a lot more work for me than in Chicago.

Gotta crawl somewhere good this weekend its a secret but its been 3 years since I last went to a crawler event. Eying the Quad city crawlers Sunday at Blackhawk, or Wisconsin crawlers up there near Devils lake on Sunday. Man its been to long was such good times when I ran a club my brother and I always look to it like the glory years. Before life got busy with women, also before there was a actual crawler "kit" we'll never forget the creative people we met and the times we had. I seem to to be 2 hours from Chicago, 2 hours from the Quad city crawlers and 2 hours from Wisconsin. So might as well head some where lol

I have to look at a job over near foster beach at noon. So I think I'll try out my now fixed, possibly Indiana illegal 1.9 wraith. I'll be there around one. Probably just run one or two battery out. All are welcome to join. I'd love to get up to devils lake. We've been plotting a camping trip up that way once it warms up and there's green things on the trees. Quad cities is a bit of a hike for us Chicago guys. But if there is something great out there we are not afraid to travel. |

Man, the launch of Orion by NASA... well it's damn awesome! Not just for America but humanity. Stretching our wings and pushing boundaries is how we are where we are today

Hey, if you guys from south of the border want to plan on a weekend up by devils lake in the spring, let me know when you want to camp. Or how soon in the summer or spring you'd start camping. I'll put together an epic weekend with some good Wisconsin guys, maybe some crazies as well. I've been thinking of putting together an idea for about 4 different locations. Maybe setting up some sort of course at at least one of them, I think I could pull it off at 2. Not thinking an actual comp but sort of an informal g6 type of thing. I have never been to a comp or any formal event though. I'm going to try! Any way, earlier in the summer is the best before the grass and weeds grow too far. But after it warms up enough. Let me know what you guys think. Don't worry Johnny, I won't make you climb up the east bluff the hard way again! |

I wanna make an scx10 based 6x now. I still have the one I had up at Marseilles. It's tough as ever, but without a complete overhaul still has that puny center clearance. It has 1000 miles on it I bet. One good little trail runner and the truck I let guys who don't have one drive with us on the trails.
