Yea, you could definitely do that. I'm not sure but I think there are a bunch of stipulations with using a drone for commercial use. You have to take a pilot class and have insurance and all that I think. Something to look into.

The owner of hobby town is huge into building aerial photography rigs and knows quite a bit about rules/laws on it. It's somewhat of a gray area right now. There's a few guys in the area doing professional stuff most are running s1000's with big dlr setups.

And yeah proline interior no way is that 3D.

the sorrca guys cant agree amongst themselves it seems, and it also seems they are getting worn down from all the people challenging the rules to either suit their build or lack of fab skills.

imho what seperates a 50pt rig from a 25pt rig was the amount of customization and fab work. i for one am sad to see that going away. call me an elitist, but i dont want to try to comp my rigs against builds where they get the same points for trimming a piece of lexan as i do for actually having an interior a little dude who aint an amputee can sit in.

and john, yeah by saying that proline interior is 3d i would assume that motor is as well. if anything that motor is more deserving of 3d engine points than a proline interior is.

i was referencing the discussion thread about the rules and the people just hell bent on making a mess of them, specifically that god damn proline interior being accepted as 3d.

3d ininterior and motor is the sucky part not sure if it's new or just updated ...but that proline body is 2d ..especially with all the new 3d printed motors that are coming out...it's going backwards in scale...trying to be more competitive

This TF2 is really a pretty nifty little rig! The chassis goes together well. It's solid as can be. I'm diggin' it! I'm stealing some of hoopty's ideas, namely his use of delrin skids, his t-case relocation and electronics placement...and his rooster mod. So all of his ideas, LOL. I still need a TF2 bed so I can attempt this long bed conversion. Anyone have one laying around, not in use?

I did order the XVD's. I can't find anyone with the helical gears in stock so I'll have to do them later on when they're available.

well the girl aint jiving at all on the denver area and outlying counties. she says she either saw rich ass people or really poor people, no real middle...

she does however, love the southwestern part of the state around durango and montrose.

i dunno how i feel about that knowing that there arent really any decent agencies out there (that i know of, but im pretty ignorant) that i could work at.

so... maybe i'll become a vendor here and other places and figure out something to do for the crawling and scaling community. although im uncertain if i can do something that can provide a decent enough income.

its scary as hell or exciting... depending on the hour.
