Hoopty sweet nano those are one of my favorites to fly, I really like the 180's to. In the winter there's indoor flying at the dome in town. They have 3d foam flying, fpv races etc. pretty much just a 10oz limit. I will take a picture of the fpv quads the guys in town are building. The new fpv goggles we have now are sick. They have a camera on the goggles as well and have picture in picture so you have height perception of where the quad is.

yeah im amazed ive had this nano in the box for over a year and just now discovered how fun it is.

im definitely considering going to get certified to fly them in commercial applications. on one of my shoots we had a husband and wife who flew camera drones, they were based out of wyoming and had a 7k day rate. and they werent good... you show up, you get footage, you hand it over and collect payment. no presentations or fighting with clients, just capturing assets and handing them off.

Anybody interested in a Sunday shakedown run at foster beach. To prepare for next weeks event at the Indian caves?

Did you go to there first event ? I've lost interest in that series, we have a decent size group of guys in Rockford now. Were planning on doing at least a couple trail runs/cook outs a month. Raceem (the indoor short course track) has some interest in setting up a rock racing course.

No I sat the first one out. I've kinda lost interest in that series as well.
I only have a c1 and an illegal 1.9 wraith. My c2 is currently at the builders becoming badass!

It was cold as balls for the first event as well. I had just got over the flu, and was not interested in standing around in sub freezing weather all day to run one truck.
This next event is at the Indian caves. Great spot! Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

I've been itching to get my c1 out since I ditched the front leaf springs.

I'll probably head over to foster Sunday 12:30 or so. Meet up at 1 if anyone is interested.
Possible beer and wings after

is foster melted yet? there was about 6' of ice on top of the rocks last time i scouted it out.

Evanston beaches are thawed out. I figured foster would have too.
Maybe I'll bike down there tomoro and see

i spaced checking it out on the way home... sry. im gonna get 1:1 timmy back together tomorrow and will try to get little timmy put back together for sunday if its nice and stuff. i could use some toy truck time. ;)

I'm feeling better! I want to play with toy trucks... in for Sunday.
If, I can get a 2nd truck done by next weekend, I'll go to Indian Caves... if I still have only 1 rig, not sure I want to stand around all day for 15 mins of playtime.
