any clod dudes interested in a brass tuber project? packing up all my chit and i aint ever gonna use it but its definitely too good to throw out. i got it pre rcc from a guy off rcmt who promised something different (and ripped a ton of people off) and its been in a box since the day i got it in the mail. id cut it up and re-use it if it wasnt brass... and soldered... but its a nice looking design and somebody could chop it up or just throw some clod axles on it. i dunno if the elcheapo 1/4 scale servos work. |

So, I found a new spot... perhaps better than Rose Point in PA! It's a beautiful gorge that took us about 30 mins to walk through in 1 direction. Only propblem, it is a state park... but it's empty. It's right across from Papa Murph's... so everyone around there goes to Starved Rock. I think we could camp at Papa Murph's and run the gorge both ways in a few hours. Actually, we could spend a couple days in there as there were all kinds of neat spots. I'll get a few pics up latter. Last edited by johnnyh66; 07-04-2015 at 11:07 AM. |

Yeah, I decided I should pony up the extra cash and get something nice... I haven't skimped on any of the other parts so the wheels weren't the place to start since I'd have to see them every day. And they weren't that much more than the U.S. Wheels but I feel the finish is much nicer. |

Am I childish? Grabbed this today for $200. 19 in tall tires. Motor n clutch are actually brand new from harbor freight. 212cc 6.5hp. Geared low as it can be tops about 25. Reminds me of the awesome fat tire trike conversions. Rims r 8in n tires 7in wide. Could go 8 wide but so much room for height. Scouring atv tires online can't see any much over the already 19in tall. Gonna make a nice farm/trails bike. Simple as it gets. |

Hey I got the $ right now. I think it'd be pretty slick with some new fenders, taller tires, and a tank. No clue how to go about looking for a tank. It'd be faux really.

Wonder if you guys have tips of dovetailing a hilux 1/4 camper shell. I've found pretty little info on dovetailing bodies.

Johnny I'd be up for hitting that place out by starved rock. It looks badass! It's also easier for me to get to than Evanston. Heck I just rode by there on the bike last weekend.

I might be able to swing Saturday. Could also camp, but wouldn't be until august that I have a free weekend.
